Councillor for Colden Common and Twyford, Liam-Bailey Morgan, had the opportunity to meet the Green Party's candidate for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Mayoral Election, Anna Collar, in November.

Whilst at this Green Party meeting, he asked Anna about her views on the reinstatement of the 61 bus service between Eastleigh and Winchester.

This is because part of the new Mayor's responsibilities will be Local Transportation.

Liam said: "It was reassuring to hear just how strongly she values reliable public transport in keeping communities connected, and she was clear in her support for bringing back the axed 61 service"

Throughout her campaign so far, Anna has routinely mentioned that one of her top priorities is "a better connected region" and she looks to do this by providing "new bus routes...safe cycle routes, new railway lines and park and ride schemes".
